The Sweetness of Salvation

Goodies and the Gospel LOVE ❤️ to share sweet treats with you all. It doesn't matter if it is with a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or stranger. The JOY that the Lord fills us with every time we hand over one of our baggies filled with homemade love and God's sweet Word is over whelming!

However, there is no sweetness like the SWEETNESS of SALVATION! This sweetness satisfies more than the stomach or any sweet tooth we could ever have. Tasting the goodness of God not only satisfies the stomach but it satisfies the soul and the heart. It is rich, pure, and most important, it is EVERLASTING! 🍯

This last week you may have seen our social media posts about proclaiming true LIBERTY. In these posts, we learned that salvation isn't earned. There IS NOT a single work or good deed you can do to that will give you salvation in Christ. Salvation is a GIFT only given from God through Jesus Christ. With the Holy Ghost's softening of our heart, we come lowly before the Lord, REPENT, are forgiven, surrender our lives to Christ, and are made whole!

Take that in for just a brief moment...... just like taking that first bite of something warm, wonderful, and homemade from the oven. 🤤

When you enjoy your next GOODIE (whether from Goodies and the Gospel or not😉) - stop for just a moment and savor the sweetness and goodness of our Lord and Saviour. Remember that His PROMISE of SALVATION never spoils and it never runs out.
