🌿 Day 2 – From Death to Life
Before Christ, we weren’t just “struggling.”
We were spiritually dead.

But God…
Those might be some of the most powerful words in Scripture.
“But God, who is rich in mercy…” (Eph. 2:4)

Ephesians 2:8-9
✨ “For by grace are ye saved through faith…”

We don’t earn salvation. We don’t bake enough, serve enough, homeschool enough, or pray enough to deserve it.
Salvation is a gift. 🎁

The world says, “Love means accepting everything.”
God says, “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth:”
— 1 Corinthians 13:6 (KJV)
In these chapters of 1 Corinthians Paul is speaking specifically to the body of believers. We see CHARITY all over these chapters. Charity in Greek is agape which we know if unconditional, sacrificial, divine love.
Worldly love avoids hard conversations.
It is very refreshing to see a website such as GnG that not only provides a way of reaching the lost but also teaches the truth. Very good article on biblical and godly love. So very true. Once again my heart is blessed. Thank you Chelsea! Keep up the good work, word and deed.

The world says love is a feeling.
God says love is a choice.
The world says love is about happiness.
God says love is about holiness.
The world says, “Follow your heart.”
God says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence.”
So very true! True love is different from the world’s definition. Keep up the good work with this fantastic ministry!

💕 This Week on Goodies & the Gospel
What is love… really?
The world defines love by feelings. God defines love by truth.
This week on our social media we’re diving into Biblical love vs. worldly love — in marriage, motherhood, friendships, and everyday life.
Because if we don’t let the Word define love… the world will.
What’s the biggest difference between Biblical love and the kind of love the world promotes?
Love endures all things. There is a difference. In marriage if a spouse says I don’t love him or her anymore, we ask why? They reply, “because they don’t do this or that anymore like they use to do! This is not love but possession. This is how you treat an Inanimate object. If you car does not perform like it did when it was new, you trade it in. This is how we treat our spouses, this is not love but possession. We should not posses one in a relationship but rather love them. So when they begin to get old and break down, you don’t discard them, you love them. Love endures all things.

What is one small way God has met you this week- through His Word, a moment of peace, or even something ordinary like a meal or conversation with some a loved one or even someone unexpected?
Feel free to share as much as or little as you're comfortable with. We're so glad you're here ✨
Very good column here about being alive! What I have come to realize that when being alive it’s referring to our affection. When we were dead towards God, we had no affection towards Him. Being alive is having affection towards Him. Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
